The theme of my (PowerPoint) presentation will be traditional Asian water base woodblock printing techniques. My personal experimentation and contemporary applications of these historical techniques in large scale: 2D works, artist’s books, installations, performance and digitally moving artworks.
My workshop will follow a similar theme as my talk and lecture presentation.
We will be using traditional Asian papers, pigments, tools and techniques to make one large group art work. This could be in the form of a long thin work or concertina book or a large work for the wall or the floor.
